Playgroups
Come share your
ideas, joys and anxieties of motherhood! Refreshments and hostess duties
are shared by all group members on a volunteer basis. There are groups for
infants, crawlers, toddlers, preschoolers, and babies and siblings. Groups
meet 2-4 times a month.
Playgrounds and Moms
This group is
for children of any age and their moms. Depending on the season and weather,
the group meets at indoor or outdoor playgrounds. The children can release
energy while moms chat and keep an eye on things!
Explorers
This group is for
children and their moms and/or dads. They meet monthly to explore various
activities in the New Jersey area such as plays, farms, zoos and museums.
Age is dependent upon the activity.
All moms are
invited to bring their children and a favorite book to be read to a group
of spellbound listeners. Themes vary monthly.
Bring strollers,
babies, kids, bikes and dogs for a morning stroll around the park. This group
meets weekly at Tamaques Park.
These are for kids
of all ages and include such things as a Halloween Party, a Holiday Party, and
a Treasure Egg Hunt. Past events have included costume parades, refreshments,
fun and games, piņatas full of surprises, a visit from Santa, and pumpkin painting.
