Pack 172 Bobcat Advancement


	Welcome to Cub Scouting! Your first task is to earn the rank of Bobcat. It's not hard, and the other Scouts in Pack 172 will help you. Along this trail are the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, and the Cub Scout motto. These are the three most important things you must learn because they will help you through all of the trails of Scouting.

	Complete the following 8 requirements:
	Learn and say the Cub Scout Promise. Say the Law of the Pack. Tell what it means. Tell what Webelos mean. Show the Cub Scout sign. Tell what it means. Show the Cub Scout handshake. Tell what it means. Say the Cub Scout motto. A motto is a rule. Give the Cub Scout salute. Tell what it means. With your parent or guardian, complete the exercises in the booklet How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse.
