Unit Adventure Award
 
 
 
  The Patriots' Path Council provides a special recognition for packs, troops, and venturing crews who conduct adventurous programs for youth. A special recognition plaque and a $500.00 scholarship are awarded. The scholarship is to be used by one or more youth members to participate in a 2001 Council Adventure Program. The award will be presented at the 2001 District Annual Meeting.

The award period is from January 1, 2000 to December 15, 2000. Units must achieve 8 of 10 criteria listed below. All criteria must have been completed in 2000.

Applications are reviewed by the District and Council Commissioner for final approval. Applicatoins must be submitted at the Council Service Center by December 20, 2000.

 
  Requirements:
  ____  1.   Our Webelos Den has participated on a camping trip with a neighboring Scout troop this past year.
 
  ____  2.   Our pack has participated in the Cub Family Camporee, Cub-E-Los or Liberty Science Center Camp_In.
 
  ____  3.   One or more Cub Scouts has participated in Day Camp.
 
  ____  4.   One or more Webelos has participated in Webelos Buckskin or Webelos Resident Camp.
 
  ____  5.   Pack held a Summer Camp Promotion night. A promotion night report was sent to the Council Service Center.
 
  ____  6.   Our pack has taken an out of town field trip or all of our dens have taken an out of town field trip. Tour permits were filed with the Council Service Center.
 
  ____  7.   Our pack has earned the BSA Crime Prevention Program Award.
 
  ____  8.   Our Cub Scouts participated in the Scouting for Food or other Service to America program.
 
  ____  9.   Our Cub Scouts have hiked a BSA approved Historical Trail.
 
  ____ 10.   Our pack has earned the National Summertime Pack Award.
