| Roselle Scouts Give the Gift of Sight |
ROSELLE -- Troop 240 of GSWRC's Roselle Community conducted a two-month ‘Give the Gift of Sight’ collection. The Girl Scouts placed boxes in schools, churches and parents business locations. Mr. Cox, representative for the Kearny Lyons Club and a parent of one the scouts, accepted 325 pairs of used and new eye glasses. The girls were presented with a certification of appreciation as well as a lesson about the meaning of the Lions Club emblem and mission in community service. For the girl’s hard work, they were treated to pizza courtesy of Mr. Cox. Below is a photo of the girls.
