LINDEN --  The Linden Community of GSWRC convened at the well-known local establishment Big Stash's on June 11 for its Annual Awards Dinner.  Highlights of the well-attended and organized event included a recognition of a Gold Award, three groups of girls bridging and the presentation of a Council-Wide Community Award.

Members of Brownie Troop 855 made the move to the Junior Level while members of Troop 378 went from Juniors to Cadettes and Senior Girl Scout Samantha Lisovich crossed over into the adult realm of Girl Scouting.  In addition, Samantha surprised the crowd by agreeing to serve as a Cadette leader during the upcoming Girl Scout year. 

GSWRC Program Specialist Susannah Arnold was in attendance to bestow congratulations and a Gold Award pin on Michelle DuBow.  Linda Graham, the group's liaison to the Linden Presbyterian Church was presented with a Community Award as a result of her dedication and commitment to the cause.  Many adult members were also presented with tokens of appreciation and gratitude on the strength of their year-long involvement with Girl Scouting.  GSWRC Membership Specialist Sue DeCarlo was also in attendance, honoring Linden's top cookie seller.  Here is a photo gallery of the festivities.
