DAISY GIRL SCOUTS
K-1st grade or 5-6 years old
Daisies are the youngest members of the Girl Scout
family. As a Daisy Girl Scout you can:
- Earn petals to form a daisy on your uniform as you learn about
the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
- Put together a scrapbook about yourself and your family
- Explore the world around you at a local park or playground
- Visit a local fire department or police station to learn how
to stay safe.
BROWNIE GIRL SCOUT
1st - 3rd Grade or 6-9 years old
Brownies explore, experiment and try new things. Girls
in 1st-3rd grade learn all about being a Girl Scout by earning 'Try-its'
and venturing out into their community. As a Brownie Girl Scout
you can:
- Sing new songs and play games
- Visit an adopted grandparent with the troop
- Go on a camping trip and learn about living out-of-doors
- Earn Try-Its about Girl Scouting, fitness, animals, science
and more
JUNIOR GIRL SCOUT
3rd - 6th grade or 9-11 years old
Do you look around at new and interesting things and think, "I'd
like to try that!"? That's what Junior Girl Scouting is all
about. As a Junior Girl Scout, you can:
- Explore topics you haven't before from photography and dramatics
to space and fashion!
- Travel all over New Jersey and beyond
- Stay a night or two at Camp Hoover and cook your meals over
the camp fire
GIRL SCOUTS AGES 11-17
or in grades 6th - 12th
Take the lead and chart a path for your future in Girl Scouts.
A whole new world awaits girls ages 11-17. As a Girl Scout you can:
- Travel around the Country or even to another country and experience
different cultures and traditions.
- Backpack, canoe, rock climb or try some other adventure you
have yet to experience.
- Join a fashion or make-up seminar
- Visit colleges and universities with your troop
- Participate in Studio 2B and other programs
- Earn your Silver and/or Gold award
ADULTS IN GIRL SCOUTING
Men and Female ages 18 +
Girl Scouts is a volunteer driven organization. We
need adults like you to lead and advise girls ages 5-17 in the program.
