Dear Parents and Families,

Girls today face many challenges and intense pressures. Now more than ever, girls need Girl Scouts... and Girl Scouts needs you!

Girl Scouts of Washington Rock is launching Commit To A Girl, a national campaign to help give the gift of Girl Scouting to girls in communities nationwide. With your financial support, we can reach out and help millions of girls, ages 5-17.

You and I share a genuine interest in the future of girls across our country. When you Commit To A Girl, you'll be helping millions of girls develop the confidence, determination, and skills they need through Girl Scouting, which promotes civic responsibility, health and fitness, and community involvement.

Here's how you can help:

1. Make a gift log on to www.CommitToAGirl.org.
2. Set up your "Personal Page" on our Web site and start asking friends, family, and colleagues to join your Commit To A Girl campaign. If you have a birthday or anniversary coming up, you can invite your friends to donate to Girl Scouts in your honor.
3. Send e-mails to your friends and family asking for their support.

People across the country have already set up their own Commit To A Girl pages. Go to www.CommitToAGirl.org to learn more and join the national effort. Be a part of this important new campaign to support Girl Scouting and the tough issues girls face. Commit To A Girl today!
