EMI OHI RESNICK, violinist
A
native New Yorker, Emi Ohi Resnick made her debut at the age of fifteen
in Carnegie Hall and has since performed throughout the United States,
Europe and Japan. Ms. Resnick studied at the Curtis Institute of
Music with Szymon Goldberg and at the Juilliard School with Robert Mann,
at the Prague Mozart Academy with Sandor Vegh and at the Mozarteum
of Salzburg with Thomas Riebl and Ruggiero Ricci. She has participated
in many summer festivals including Marlboro, Banff, Salzburg, Taos and
Tanglewood, and is regularly invited to the International Musicians Seminar
in Prussia Cove, England.
Ms. Resnick was featured
on "Young Artists" Showcase on Radio WQXR (the radio station of the New
York Times), live in recital on Czech television and has been heard in
broadcasts on National Public Radio, Radio ORF, Austria and Radio France.
Ms. Resnick was a member of the Camerata Academica Salzburg and concertmaster
and resident violinist of the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra. She
currently divides her time between the USA and Europe, where she is concertmaster
of the Dutch Radio Chamber Orchestra.
