Matthias
Naegele has performed extensively as soloist and chamber musician in Europe,
the United States, Mexico, Brazil and Asia. He has participated in
the Marlboro, Apple Hill Dubrovnik, Jerusalem, Curascao, Aspen, Prussia
Cove and Edinburgh music festivals. Many of his performances are
regularly broadcast over National Public Radio and Public Television.
Matthias has also appeared in solo and chamber music performances on French,
Austrian and BBC Radio and on BBC Television.
Mr. Naegele performs regularly with numerous
chamber ensembles including the Prometheus piano quartet, the Music Project,
The Arbor Chamber Music Society, Anthony Newman's Brandenburg Collegium,
and An Die Musik. Referring to Mr. Naegele's debut in Carnegie Recital
Hall, the New York Times described his playing as "vigorous, capable and
vivid...sincere and beautifully inflected."
